"It's a String Thing" #232

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

This week's challenge is sure to please.  We are using just two tangles - both very free moving and elegant.

But before the introductions, let's begin with this string ~

IAST #232 String by Adele Bruno, CZT
The tangles we will use include ~

Roloflex by Pilar Pulido, CZT
This tangle begins with an 'S' shape and the detail lines bring it to life.
Hint:  When drawing those inner lines, you may find it helpful to begin at the points and fan up and outward, instead of the other way around.

Inapod by Carole Ohl, CZT
This tangle is almost eight years old - ancient for this art form ☺.
I especially like the fact that the step out begins with a wavy line and builds from there - quite unexpected when viewing the finished tangle.

Since the string has wavy lines as well, feel free to add to it as you tangle.  This string is just a suggestion, let the tangles lead the way.

Click the names of the tangles find the step outs.  All tangles can be found on TanglePatterns as well.

Enjoy!
