This is an especially happy time for our IAST friend, Henrike Bratz (Germany). She is celebrating her recent CZT certification, her new website, and Tint, a recently deconstructed pattern that she first saw over a year ago (in a lovely setting, I might add).
Her new tangle is very eye catching. It has elements of Flux and Antidots and it begins and ends at a midpoint much like my own Uncorked.
We begin with this string inspired by the middle tile of Henrike's step out~

Bales by Maria Thomas
This is a terrific grid based tangle - the Zentangle mantra of adding one stroke at a time truly applies to this pattern as it unfolds magically. It can be used simply or as complex as you prefer.
Click here for my past post that features variations of Bales and suggestions for shading.
Antidots by Anita Roby-Lavery
It has been almost a year since we used this continuous line tangle. Tint's center brought it to mind. I think it will be fun to combine the two for this challenge.
Use as many or as few of the tangles as you'd like.
Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away.
Keep in mind that string lines are suggestions and let the patterns lead the way.
