"It's String Thing" #71

It is Tuesday, your good news day, and nine short days until Christmas.

When I planned out the month's challenges, I chose a monotangle for this week of Molly Hollibaugh's new tangle Akuras because it reminded me of the Star of the East when drawn with many points.  I also thought that it would be a wonderful break in the holiday preparations to learn just one pattern.

The string we will use was created by Carolyn Koesters - TanglePatterns String 069 ~

At first glance the string line may seem to busy for Akuras, but keep in mind that strings are suggestions.  While you may use all of the lines the string offers, you may also use just a few.  This gives you the opportunity to tangle one or multiple Akuras.

The step out can be found by clicking on the name of the tangle below -
or by visiting Tangle Patterns.
