"It's a String Thing" #91

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

This week marks the fifth anniversary of Linda Farmer's TanglePatterns website.   Congratulations, Linda.

What tangling would be like without the resources on her site, I shudder to think!

Today also marks the Mexican celebration of Cinco de Mayo.

With so many fives swirling around, how could we not use a five themed approach to this week's challenge?

We begin with a string line of mine based on the Roman Numeral V (five) ~

String by Adele Bruno, CZT
It is a very simple string.  Use it as is, or turn the tile in any direction you wish.

We will use three patterns:  one in honor of Linda, one with the numeral 5 in the title, and one that begins with the letter 'V'.

They are:
Zin by CZT Linda Farmer
2-n-5 by CZT Anita Roby-Lavery
Vano by Anneke Sieben

Step outs for the patterns can be found by clicking their names above, or by visiting TanglePatterns.

Use as many or as few as you'd like.

Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away!  Keep in mind that string lines are suggestions and let the patterns lead the way.

Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines:
* Challenges are posted on Tuesdays.
*Use the string posted for the week and patterns that begin or contain the letter(s) indicated
