"It's a String Thing" #263

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

This week is packed with wonderful reasons to celebrate.  Our Canadian tanglers enjoy Thanksgiving on Monday and in the United States, we observe Columbus Day. 

On a personal note, our newest granddaughter is due and our Isabella leaves the teenage world as she turns 20 on Monday. 

Let's just resolve to make life a continuous celebration, shall we?  At the very least let's continue to accentuate the positive and all that is good.

On that note, let's begin with this string ~

Ria is such a positive force in the tangling world.  This is her latest posted on TanglePatterns.
Columbus "sailed the ocean blue", and this tangle looks lovely straight-lined (calm) or curved (wavy) like the sea.

This is a grid based pattern has lovely lines and a fitting name.

This tangle is meant to add to the overall fun of the week :)


Keep in mind that strings are merely suggestions. As with all IAST adventures, simply pencil in the string and let the tangles lead the way.

*Entries for IAST are to be submitted by Saturday evening of the week issued
*Photos, notes, and the 'Tile for Honors' are (usually) posted on the following Monday
