Button gift enclosure card by Adele Bruno, CZT |
Project particulars:
This is a small card designed to given with a gift.
From my button box, I selected a round purple button with two holes.
I traced it in the approximate center of the card and then tangled outward.
Once the zendala was complete, I used a needle and thick cotton embroidery thread to sew the button to the paper and then finished it with a double knot.
Here's a little trick: Adding the scalloped edge and then doubling it is an easy way to give the illusion that the round design is centered. I just adjusted the curves, stretching them to a somewhat equal distance from the edges of the card.
Precious!
ReplyDeleteLovely, original idea, thank you Adele!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea for making use of some of those pretty, leftover buttons in my button box - It would be fun to do for birthday cards - I'm looking forward to trying this!
