"It's a String Thing" #216

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

In yesterday's "It's a String Thing" #215 Tiles post, Sue Agnew sent in a photo of her friends participating in creating a piece for an art show.  The picture shows them adding colorful aura below a line that reflected the top of a mountain range.

That brought to mind the possibilities of adding aura to a string in the same way we would add a tangle.

In addition to this inspiration, I did celebrate a birthday that rhymes with "Rixty" ( the wonderful tangle by Maria Thomas) this week.  Yikes!

Using Sue's note and photo, along with Rixty, let's begin with this string ~

IAST #216 String by Adele Bruno, CZT

The step out for Rixty can be found here.

My post about entitled "The Awesome Art of Aura" can be found by clicking here.  It may give you more ideas for using this tangle enhancer.

Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away! Feel free to place the string any way you'd like on your tile.

Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines:

  1. Hi Adele! Happy belated Rixty-rhyming-eth birthday! Even I keep wondering how I've reached the age I am so fast but keep thinking - and saying - it's fine, at least I've survived this long! :-D

About this week's challenge - you want us to use Rixty and also aura the string, did I understand you right? Thanks for the round-up in the previous post. - Sra

  2. Thank you and I agree, it is a blessing!
The invite in the challenge is to use Rixty and aura - either one or both.
