"It's a String Thing" #184

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

And what a wonderful day in the Zentangle® world.  Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas published their latest newsletter today that includes step outs for the new tangle Waybop, and wrote eloquently about how hearts fit so well with tangling - all this on a Tuesday that is St. Valentine's Day.  Good news abounds!

Take a minute to read their Newsletter (Link) and their blog post (Link).  Take some time to soak in the sentiments, play with Waybop, and then with inspired heart and hand, give this week's challenge a go...

You will notice that Waybop can begin with any number of even rice shapes - or "seeds".
For starters, let's try eight. (Like all strings, this is a suggestion.  Please use more or less if you wish.) The initial step of the tangle will be your string ~

After these initial shapes are drawn, let the tangle evolved and see where it takes you.  I am certain that seeing the examples in the blog post and newsletter - and on the Mosaic app - you will be inspired.  Won't it be fascinating to see what we all come up with?

Have a wonderful love-filled day today and week ahead.
