I'm a Calendar Girl!

...Miss October to be exact.

Let me explain...

While I can tease about being a calendar beauty, I am happy to report that my ZIA really is - thanks to the Rotary Club of Casselberry, Florida.

The Club hosts an annual contest for local artists to submit work for the calendar they publish to raise money for charity.  This year's theme was the 75th anniversary of the city.

Since I teach at the Casselberry Art House - pictured on the header of my blog - and since I absolutely love the place, I decided to create a Zentangle® Inspired Art piece that reflected my appreciation for it.

Here is my finished piece ~

The Tangled Art House by Adele Bruno, CZT

This invitation features all of the award winning artwork for the calendar ~

My Zentangle Inspired Art held its own in a field of painted masterpieces.

Just like Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas say, "Anything is possible one stroke at a time!"

Keep tangling - the world is full of possibilities!

  2. Congratulations! Love the way you colored just the tile around the doorway. It's really striking. Sue Agnew (can't figure out how to have a "profile")
