Here is my completed nine piece ensemble ~
9 Piece Pre-strung Tile Ensemble by Adele Bruno, CZT |
A finished summer project.
The key word in that sentence is "finished".
Yet another benefit of the Zentangle® art form - the joy of being able to finish what is begun is a built-in element.
Enjoy!
Congratulations on finishing your summer project. It's very lovely. What an accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lori. Send me a picture when you do one!
DeleteLove it! Put togther it really does look great. Did you do each tile completely blind or were you tempted to have a sneaky peak at the tiles that would sit next to the one you were doing? Linda x
ReplyDeleteI did each individually - although I was tempted to peak. Had I lined them up, I may have changed a few things along the way. It was much more freeing to just see what it became.
DeleteSuperb! It really is lovely. I like how you used Beadlines all around the perimeter.
ReplyDeleteBut the summer's only half over. Are you going to do another? ;)
Thank you Margaret, that is a tempting suggestion:)
DeleteWow, Adele, this is truly a stunnung piece. Very inspiring too...Axxx
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you do with one, Annie!
DeleteMagnificent! It deserves to be framed.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lily :)
DeleteThis is sooo pretty! You do such beautiful work. I love how the tangles all flow into one another so smoothly. Did you plan it that way or did it just happen? I have had the ensemble tiles for a long time but have not used them because I'm afraid I'll mess them up! I know I'm supposed to just tangle and not worry about it, but it's hard to let go of that nasty perfectionist inside! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Becky. Remember that there are no "mess ups" in Zentangle :) It is hard to let go of that nagging perfectionism - but it is very freeing!
DeleteTake is one stroke at a time, one tile at a time and you will be pleasantly surprised with your own masterpiece!
Wow Adele. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWoo! I've been looking forward to seeing the tiles all together: woo!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate that you followed along!
DeleteWow - Adele, that is truly beautiful. It's been great to watch it build up tile by tile - but the 9 individuals couldn't prepare me for the full impact!
ReplyDeleteYou are sweet to say that - now it's your turn :)
DeleteI'm really tempted! I'm thinking of trying a mini-ensemble. I'd thought of it a while back as a small step toward the real deal - but now with all the talk of Bijou it seems even more apt!
DeleteBeautiful !
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love it !
ReplyDeleteMerci!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely. I have got to try one of those.
ReplyDeleteyes, you do - and send me a picture :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! I followed you at your summer project and I really enjoyed each single tile ... wonderful! The finished ensemble is stunning and a beautiful piece of art! Indeed it deseves to be framed! Thank you for your inspiration ... I created a mini ensemble of Bijou tiles for the Diva´s challenge yesterday. So much fun!
