"It's a String Thing" #272

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

We are five days into this glorious month - just twenty-one days until Christmas.  To allow time for all of the other wonderful things this season brings, the next two IAST's will each span two weeks.

The tiles for today's challenge will be due by Saturday, December 15th - that gives us 11 days to find the time to tangle.  We can do this!

IAST #273 will be posted on Tuesday, December 18 and those tiles will be due by Saturday, December 30.

For this challenge, we begin with this string...

...and two tangles by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts ~

Verdigogh
It's just that time of year.  Every December calls for evergreens, so let's tangle some.

Jetties
Orbs, orbs, and more orbs, all waiting to be embellished.
We were reacquainted with this tangle at zenAgain and I'd forgotten how much I liked it.  I think you will like it, too.

Keep in mind that the string is a suggestion, let the tangles lead the way.

Feel free to use any size and color of tile.

I will post these results during the week of December 10.  Have fun with the extra time!

Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines:
