Here we are, after such a fabulous display of imagination and tangles from yesterday's post, ready to pick up our Microns and begin again. The promise and possibilities hold so much anticipation and excitement. Here we go!
This is our string ~
IAST#161 by Adele Bruno, CZT |
The tangles we will use include:
Two tangles from Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, Zentangle® founders
Hibred
This pattern is similar Shattuck from last week, yet has its own unique characteristics. In fact, some tanglers filled in Fengle in a Hibred manner.
and
Rain
I never draw this one the same way twice. Once aura is added it can be embellished in endless ways.
Raindotty by Jane Monk
There is a beauty in the simplicity of this pattern.
Our rainy weather must have played a part in the choosing of these patterns! I do hope sunshine and blue skies are in your forecast as you tangle this week - except where rain is needed that is...
Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away! Keep in mind that string lines are suggestions and let the patterns lead the way.

I cannot get the link to Rain to work. It takes me to Tanglepatterns but then the link is broken. I will keep searching but wanted you to be aware. 😊
ReplyDeleteWhile the link on Tanglepatterns is inactive, the step out listed for Rain is the same one it would have referred you to any way. For a bit more on the tangle, I'll post some Tips for Tangling Rain on Thursday.
