This is a great time of year for sports fans and at the top of the charts in this week's news is the Final Four NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) basketball tournament - the culmination of what is known as March Madness. The men's games have been exceptionally exciting as 68 teams have been whittled down to the Final Four. The championship game will be played on Monday.
Let's tangle a little March (even though we are into April already!) Madness ourselves and begin with this string ~
IAST #286 String by Adele Bruno, CZT |
The exciting tangles we will use include ~
Tunnelvizion by CZT Jody Genovese
This is Jody's latest tangle on TanglePatterns. It looks like so much fun to draw that it just had to be included this week. The little "escapees" open up worlds of possibilities.
Mr. E by CZT Shawn Hayden
While Jody's tangle does have some similarity to Mr. E, their differences will be fun to explore.
Scape by CZT Angie Gittles
At first, I thought to include Printemps, but then spotted this pattern. Angie includes spirals, straight lines, and orbs here - just the ticket to compliment and/or morph into the other two tangles.
This will be a great week of sports and tangles. Have fun with your tiles!
Speaking of tiles, the results of IAST #285 will be published tomorrow.
Just a little delay as we were away visiting our sweet granddaughter, Ada - how can one ever have enough Gramma time?!
