"It's a String Thing" #285

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

This week is a new and exciting adventure into Maria Thomas' exciting world of DingsplatZ. 
The latest blog post from Zentangle features a Kitchen Table Tangles video by Maria and Rick Roberts with a full explanation and multiple examples.  Click here to view it.

DingsplatZ begin with loopy strings that easily fill with aura and tangles.  Here is an example of what one might look like ~

Begin your own DingsplatZ with a loopy string - each of our beginning loopy strings will be different.  Fill it with aura, orbs, and any tangle (or tangles) that strike your fancy. 

Please don't over think this either.  I firmly believe that copying other tanglers - especially the master tangler herself (Maria) -  is the best way to learn, so feel free to use the same enhancements featured in the video.

This will be great fun and the array of tiles (and maybe even a pair of jeans, or two!) will be fabulous.

Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines:
* Challenges are posted on Tuesdays.
*Use the string posted for the week and some or all of the suggested patterns
* Submit a photo of your tile saved as jpg or scan your tile (300 dpi or higher) and save as a jpg
*Email your jpg file as an attachment to - brunoadelem@gmail.com
*Entries for IAST are to be submitted by Saturday evening of the week issued
*Photos and notes are (usually) posted on the following Monday
