"It's a String Thing" #198

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

Just over a month ago, for IAST # 193 (link) we created tiles with Lily Moon's tangles along with a string inspired by her mark.  It was a show of our love, support, and appreciation as she braved a difficult time.

Just two days ago on her blog (link) , Lily posted a tangle she created in loving memory of her daughter.  Her loss is unimaginable.

Let us send another wave of love and support to Lily by using her new Agni in this week's challenge.
We begin with this string~
IAST #198 String by Adele Bruno, CZT

The tangles we will use include ~

Agni by Lily Moon
This pattern has a graceful beauty all its own.

Tira by Ragged Ray
With so many tangles to choose from these days, it can challenging to remember even our favorites.  It is time to get reacquainted with Tira, lest we forget about it!

Knightsbridge by Maria Thomas, Zentangle co-founder
This tangle will give some weight to the tile with its bold, light and dark contrasts.  The link will take you to the Zentangle blog where Maria has a step out and some beautiful examples.

Use as few or as many of these tangles as you would like.

Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away! Keep in mind that string lines are suggestions and let the patterns lead the way.
