"It's a String Thing" #171

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

This week's challenge was inspired by a relatively new pattern published on TanglePatterns - Sea Wave.

Let's begin with this string ~
IAST #171 by Adele Bruno, CZT

The tangles we will us are:

Sea Wave by Ginny Lu
This looks like a very soothing tangle to draw and it reminds me of Onion Drops - a pattern we used recently.

Crescent Moon by Rick Roberts and  Maria Thomas, Zentangle® founders
You may find my past post about aura (click here to see) as well as one entitled "Shine on, Shine on Crescent Moon" (click here to view) helpful.

Ginny's example of using these two tangles together inspired this week's combination.
Her step out also inspired the string.

Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away!
Feel free to angle it any way you wish and even add more lines to the string.  Keep in mind that string lines are suggestions and let the patterns lead the way.

Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines:
* Challenges are posted on Tuesdays.
*Use the string posted for the week and patterns that begin or contain the letter(s) indicated
