I begin with an apology about the delay in posting the results from last week's challenge. Yesterday, internet access was down in our entire area due to a glitch in the system. It was a bit frustrating, but in the grand scheme of things, it is only a minor set back.
The results will be posted tomorrow in lieu of the usual Wednesday's Words of Wisdom.
Thank you for understanding and for your patience.
On to #135...
This could be considered a tradition of sorts, as it is the third year we are using this string ~
St. Patrick's Day String by Adele Bruno, CZT |
Always a fan of a continuous line, here is a step out to draw the string in one stroke ~
Here are a few tips for tangling variations of the tangle that you might enjoy ~
If you have a favorite tangle, feel free to add it to your tile. Be sure to include the name of your pattern in your email, so I can post it along with your artwork.
To recap:
Use my three leaf clover string above, Lucky, and if you want - add a tangle of your choosing.
The step out for Lucky can be found on the tab at the top of my blog page and also on Linda Farmer's TanglePatterns.
Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away! Keep in mind that string lines are suggestions and let the patterns lead the way.
Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines:
