This week marks quite an oddity in the calendar year (pun intended).
Friday's date is 11/13/15.
Yes, it is Friday the 13th.
It is also ODD DAY, the sixth and final time this century that the date is a continuous sequence of odd numbers.
Armed with this information - let's have an ODD challenge...
We begin with Joyce Burns' odd numbered string, TanglePatterns String 017 ~

Next we will use the 11th, 13th, and 15th tangles listed on TanglePatterns.com:
Acrosstick by Ed Gucker, CZT
Afterglo by Carole Ohl, CZT
Ahh by Maria Thomas, Zentangle® co-founder
Oddly, (there is the pun again!) - I posted my notes about Afterglo and Ahh almost two years ago - click here for the link - before I coined the phrase Tips for Tangling.
Step outs for the patterns can be found by clicking their names above, or by visiting TanglePatterns.com.
Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away! Keep in mind that string lines are suggestions and let the patterns lead the way.
Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines:
