Wednesday's Words of Wisdom

It is not so much our friends’ help that helps us, 

               as the confidence of their help.                  ~Epicurus

I read these wise words and my dear friend Karen came to mind.  

She met up with me just before six a.m. last Sunday to drive to the  Florida Art Educators Conference in Daytona Beach.  

She helped me set up the conference room for class and helped pack up afterward (pictured above).  Now, that is a good friend.

I am truly blessed to enjoy the confidence of her help and I am grateful.
