My Completed Summer Project - YAY!!

Drum roll, please...!

Here is my completed nine piece ensemble ~

9 Piece Pre-strung Tile Ensemble by Adele Bruno, CZT
This is what the pre-strung tiles looked like when I started ~

A finished summer project.

The key word in that sentence is "finished".

Yet another benefit of the Zentangle® art form - the joy of being able to finish what is begun is a built-in element.

Enjoy!

  2. Love it! Put togther it really does look great. Did you do each tile completely blind or were you tempted to have a sneaky peak at the tiles that would sit next to the one you were doing? Linda x

    1. I did each individually - although I was tempted to peak. Had I lined them up, I may have changed a few things along the way. It was much more freeing to just see what it became.

  3. Superb! It really is lovely. I like how you used Beadlines all around the perimeter.
But the summer's only half over. Are you going to do another? ;)

  6. This is sooo pretty! You do such beautiful work. I love how the tangles all flow into one another so smoothly. Did you plan it that way or did it just happen? I have had the ensemble tiles for a long time but have not used them because I'm afraid I'll mess them up! I know I'm supposed to just tangle and not worry about it, but it's hard to let go of that nasty perfectionist inside! :)

    1. Thank you Becky. Remember that there are no "mess ups" in Zentangle :) It is hard to let go of that nagging perfectionism - but it is very freeing!
Take is one stroke at a time, one tile at a time and you will be pleasantly surprised with your own masterpiece!

  9. Wow - Adele, that is truly beautiful. It's been great to watch it build up tile by tile - but the 9 individuals couldn't prepare me for the full impact!

    2. I'm really tempted! I'm thinking of trying a mini-ensemble. I'd thought of it a while back as a small step toward the real deal - but now with all the talk of Bijou it seems even more apt!
