"It's a String Thing" #270

It's Tuesday, your good news day!
It is also Thanksgiving week here in the United States.

Highlights of our family celebrations include cherished family time, a feast of turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie, the Macy's Day Parade, football games, and even more pie.
After the mealtime prayer, we take turns around the dinner table to say aloud what we thank God for, especially the blessings of the past year.

At zenAgain two years ago and at the most recent one, the ever delightful Mary Bartrop, CZT taught us something she does that goes along with our theme of gratitude this week.

When beginning a tile, Mary lightly pencils the dots, border, string, and then in each string section, she writes what/who she is grateful for. When the tile is complete, the words are not visible, but she knows they are there. Isn't that special?

For this challenge, after you pencil the string onto your tile, lightly pencil in your blessings in each of the string's sections and then tangle away.  If you want your words to be prominent, feel free to write them in Micron and incorporate them into your tangled spaces.

This string is a reworked version of one we've used before ~

*Results are (usually) posted on Mondays.
